PRACTICAL GUIDE
Build a page that collects enquiries
Offer a service and want people to contact you? Build a simple Systeme.io page with a form and confirmation. You will then reply to enquiries personally.
YOUR STARTING POINT
One page, one form, one confirmation.
Example: a consultant offers a discovery conversation. A visitor leaves their first name and email, then sees when to expect a reply.
What you need
- A Systeme.io account and an inbox you monitor.
- One specific service, your audience and a realistic reply time.
- Your own address to test before sharing the page.
Level: beginner. First goal: save an enquiry, without payments or a marketing sequence.
1. Prepare your offer copy
Write three sentences: who you help, what you offer and what happens after an enquiry. Adapt the example below with your service and reply time. Make clear that this requests a conversation, rather than automatically booking a time slot.
Check: Your offer and next step are clear without calling you.
2. Prepare the page and confirmation
In your funnel, prepare an opt-in page, meaning a page with a form, followed by a thank-you page. Choose a simple layout and replace its text. Start with two fields: first name and email. On the confirmation page, state the next step and reply time.
Check: The form and confirmation use your own copy.
3. Configure the form button
Select the button in the editor and set its action to save the contact. Simply linking to the next page will not collect contact details. Save, open the public page and check that submission leads to your confirmation.
Check: The contact is saved, not just redirected.
4. Organize your reply
Find your test contact in the list and schedule time to review new enquiries. To identify them, you can add a rule triggered by signup on this page that adds a tag such as “appointment-enquiry”. An automatic email is optional for this first project.
Check: You know where to find and handle a new enquiry.
5. Test and share
On a phone and computer, submit an enquiry using your own details. Find it in contacts and read the confirmation. Also check that an empty required field prevents submission. Once the journey works, share the page in your email signature or on a profile your customers already use.
Check: The same journey works on both devices.
WORKED EXAMPLE
Worked example: request an appointment
A service provider offers a discovery conversation, with no payment on the page. Prepare a Systeme.io account, an inbox you monitor and your offer copy. The expected result is a saved contact with an identifiable source and a clear confirmation.
| Element | Example content |
|---|---|
| Title | Let’s discuss your project in 20 minutes |
| Form | First name + email; phone only when offering a call |
| Button | Request a conversation |
| Confirmation | Request received. I will reply within two working days. |
| Internal tag | appointment-enquiry |
Prepare an opt-in page and a thank-you page in your funnel. Use the table as a starting point, adapting the response time to your availability. The button must save the contact; check its action before testing the redirect.
Open the signup page’s automation rules. Connect signup on this page to a tag dedicated to this journey. If you add an email, write a short confirmation stating what was requested and how to contact you. Save both the message and the rule.
Keep a contact enquiry separate from subscription to regular messages. In this example nobody is automatically added to a newsletter. After publishing, establish a daily routine for handling enquiries with this tag.
Checks before activation
These are expected results to verify in your account, not tests already performed by BizPratico.
| Test case | Expected result |
|---|---|
| Submit your test address | Contact saved, tag present and confirmation shown |
| Required email left empty | The form requests a correction |
| Read on a phone | Fields, button and next step remain readable |
If the result differs
If the thank-you page opens without a contact being created, check the button action. If the contact exists but no email arrives, check the rule, sender and spam folder before rebuilding the page.
