Prepare your first online course

1. Define the learning outcome
Describe what the learner will be able to do afterwards. Check interest with your audience before recording hours of video. A few structured lessons can be enough for a first course.
2. Organize the lessons
Create the course structure in Systeme.io, then add your materials. Alternate explanation, example and exercise. Use only text, images and videos you have permission to share.
3. Describe the offer accurately
State prerequisites, included content, access duration and the support you actually provide. For a paid offer, configure a supported payment method and your terms before enabling purchases.
4. Connect the offer to course access
Check that signup or purchase grants access to the correct course and sends the required instructions. Verify these settings in the documentation for your offer type.
5. Walk through the course as a learner
Test access with a separate test account, open every lesson and check the mobile layout. For payments, use the provider’s test mode where available. Gather feedback from a small group before widening the launch.
